Fabulous breakfast, fast & tasty. Great service, good coffee

Atmosphere was great as well as service. The food was so so.

Food is awesome and staff was super nice. Attentive and friendly.Was happy they were open on the 19th of April this year as my grandson wanted to go there for his birthday breakfast and most places are closed.

I enjoyed a great brunch here. I had the scrambled skillet and it was really great. The sourdough toast was incredible.

Went on a Sunday with friends and boy was it crowded. Well worth the wait. Staff was helpful and friendly and when we Sat down to eat the breakfast food that they served was plentiful and delicious. They don't serve dinner here only Breakfast and Brunch.

An excellent place, great pricing for a large amount of food. The staff are incredible and caring, without being overbearing. The pancakes are to die for, and this place is definitely worth going to whenever in Stratford!

Great food, great service and atmosphere!

Absolutely scrumptious! Erin had the day’s special, Juevos Rancheros and I had the Classic breakfast with a side of pancakes. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was friendly, quick and attentive. We definitely recommend this breakfast spot!

There are a lot of options for breakfast here - the ones I've tried are very tasty. The servers are friendly and the service is good. The only drawback is that it can very busy and you may have to wait for a table, but you can't blame a place for having lots of customers.

We love the pancakes and hashbrowns. The breakfast sandwich is also delicious, but I recommend adding a side of avocado to it. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. I do wish they had a veggie burger option.

Finally made it to the latest miracle created by Stratford’s restaurant genius, Jessie Votary. Bright, vintage space serving up local, earnest breakfast and diner lunch. Delicious! It’s the innkeeper’s secret day off spot. Not so secret!

My wife loved the pancakes. The hamburgers were also awesome.

A bit on the higher end price wise for breakfast depending what you get but it's definitely worth the price. They do have more affordable options as well

Quite likely the best diner-style breakfast I've ever had. The Ministry of Magic would be upset about their use of magic outside of Hogwarts, but nobody else could be upset about the wizardry taking place in the kitchen here. 9 & 3/4 stars out of 10

Delicious. I had the avocado toast and it was perfect!! Everyone I was with loved the food as well. My fave breakfast in town.

My early morning saviour!! The smoked meat and bacon here is to die for, but I'm absolutely in love with the hashed potatoes... This crew understands flavour~ Plus freshly ground coffee?? Please, this place is too good!! 5/5!

Had a one night winter getaway to Stratford recently, and stopped in here for breakfast as it was close to where we stayed. The service was quick and all the staff were friendly and cheerful. I had the skillet and my wife had the classic breakfast. We both enjoyed our meals. My only suggestion is perhaps they could include two pieces of toast (= 4 triangles) with the skillet, but that is just my opinion, and certainly not worthy of knocking the rating down to four stars!

This place is an instant classic, and should be a part of Stratford's culinary landscape for years to come. The menu is so carefully curated and prepared that every dish feels high end, but accessible. The staff is so friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the food is delicious. The pancakes are an absolute must-try! I don't know what it is about them, but I've never tasted ones like these. Bacon and pastrami are smoked in-house, sausages are prepared in nearby Sebringville. Be sure to get there early, as word of this gem quickly caught on; a line is almost guaranteed after 10am on a weekend. And for good reason!

This diner is amazing. The decor is well lit and charming. The food is delicious and made with love. To give you an idea of the care they put into their craft they have small pepper grinders at each table instead of pre ground pepper and the buttered toast only has the buttered sides facing each other so the non buttered sides don't get soggy.You should try it, you won't be disappointed

This was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Anywhere! It was amazing! Words really can’t describe how scrumptious it was! I’m addicted! The avocado toast is to die for! The service was great and the atmosphere has a great vibe to it. I can’t wait to go back! I seriously can’t get enough! Simply delicious!

Very nice place, friendly service. I like old man club sandwich, my wife enjoy salmon bagel. Very busy after 11am, but still had a fantastic experience.

I had the old man breakfast. It was a lot of food for an old man but I muscled through it and am super proud. I bragged to the young lady at the table next to me, she pretended to be unimpressed. I took a selfie because reasons. Also, there was a staff member wearing a watermelon print dress with matching earrings. 12/10 will eat here again.

This is the kind of restaurant you would build, if you could. Bright, spotless, fun and a wonderful varied menu. Food is over the top. I had the (in house) smoked salmon with cream cheese and my spouse had smoked breakfast hash. Both were excellent. I will be back. Awesome spot.

This place has wicked good food with fun diner style decor. Their servers are friendly too. Only thing is that they always get busy, so I would recommend go during an ice storm to ensure you get a good seat. Worked for me.

Such an amazing spot! Our server was SO nice and friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. I love how high-quality their meat products are. The prices are also very reasonable. I can't wait to go back again someday!

Fantastic little dinner in the heart of Stratford. Delicious food everytime and excellent service. Best thing, they serve breakfast all day... Oh and don't forget the serve Revel coffee too!! Too notch joint👌🏻

The food was tasty but I payed $12 for the avocado burger and the patty was miniature... you get more meat in a McDouble at McDonald’s... with a patty that small they should come with 2. I left disappointed but my fiancé was happy with his pastrami sandwich

Gone for breakfast and lunch and been very happy with both meals. The quality of ingredients is definitely evident and the care they put into making every dish is spot on. The pancakes!!! I wish I could make them that good. Awesome diner food and I’ll continue going back.

The pancakes convinced us to return, but we couldn’t find anything that wasn’t delicious. I couldn’t resist the Thursday special on my first day, the mushroom toast. I want to figure out how to make it.

Unfortunately, this place is overpriced and overrated. The food took longer than it should have, the quality wasn't great, and the taste was average.The "breakfast sausages" were literal hot dogs.The fried hash browns are just subpar french fries.The shredded hash browns were undercooked and not very flavorful.You're better off going to a cheap diner. The food will be more affordable and maybe even better tasting.

My first visit to Old Man & Son and I was not disappointed. I ordered the egg Benedict breakfast but they were offering a limited time offering of Bread pudding with scallion and potatoes (I think) with smoked meat, egg and hollandaise. It was simply put, sensational. Let's also not undercut the crispy grated hash browns to compliment this beautiful attack on the taste buds. Great job Old Man & Son for making my morning. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting or dwelling in the downtown Stratford area.

This is a very popular place, and if they don't have a table for you when you arrive, they offer to text you as soon as your table is ready so you can enjoy exploring neighboring shops while you wait. Service is fast and friendly. I ordered the classic breakfast which comes with two fried eggs, three slices of crisp bacon, fried hash browns and toast. I also ordered a side of two pancakes with butter and real maple syrup. I didn't care for the hash browns, and although the eggs were cooked perfectly, the plate was not warmed so you had to eat them quickly before they got cold. The pancakes, bacon and syrup where delicious.

Very generous portions. For three of us we got 2x 1 pc fish and chips, and a fish burger with chips. In hindsight it was too much and the three of us should have shared a 3pc meal with fries. We ended up not being able to eat all the fries. Also got a fountain soft drink which comes with refills. Tartar sauce was good and we asked for extra. Staff was really friendly and sitting on the patio outside was great. They only take cash and debit.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food in large portions. Even my kids enjoy it and they are impossible to please.
